Event introduction

Background

The automotive industry has evolved over the past 100 years, from steam locomotives to diesel locomotives, from hybrid cars to pure electric vehicles, with the help of technology and electronics it is progressing rapidly. The era of smart transportation has quietly come to us, and the unmanned smart car is no longer a distant future.

"Internet of Vehicles" (IOV) and "smart mobility" have become two focus of global car manufacturers. In recent years, under the impetus of the market and policies of the Taiwan automobile industry, the technology has become more mature and is welcoming a new stage of development. On 29 May, the Talent Cultivation and Smart Car Trend Development Forum will discuss how to nurture young talents for the industry, provide the latest market trends, and get access to the revolutionary era of the automotive industry.

The forum is organized by the EUTW, ECCT Low Carbon Initiative (LCI), and TÜV Rheinland. Distinguished speakers and experts are invited from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST),  ABB, BOSCH, SIEMENS, ITS Taiwan, NAR Lab, Taiwan Turning Corp. to delve into policies, technical capabilities and market trends associated with IOV and smart mobility.

We look forward to seeing you at the event.
