Mr. William Graff

William Graff joins the TÜV Pleasanton office with over 30 years of experience in Testing and Certification of Long Range and Short Range radio transmitters. In his role, he is globally responsible for our FCC TCB Program tied with our Wireless Strategy 2020. He will be working closely with all regions in order to align our FCC documentation, process, and procedures. William Graff has given multiple presentations at the IEEE EMC Society Symposiums and has published articles on transmitter testing. He participated on the original IEEE 1528 (2003) SAR standard committee, and also was the first TCB reviewer to successfully push a SAR review through FCC. Currently, he serves on the TCB Board of Directors as its Treasurer. William Graff is one of the founding members of the TCB community.
Before moving to California, William Graff lived in Taipei, Taiwan for seven years. During this time, he had the opportunity to meet and train many of the top laboratories in Asia. He built his reputation as a subject matter expert on FCC and IC rules and regulations through careful and well documented interpretations. Today, he still is respected as a ‘teacher’ in regulatory affairs.
