With rapid and strong development of its automotive industry, China is now the country with the largest manufacturing and sales volume of vehicles in the world for the 8th consecutive year. Notable progress has been made in aspects of the country’s automotive industry such as its comprehensive strength, industrial structural transformation, and support capability of the spare parts industry. At the same time, pushing the development level of its new energy cars to a globally leading position, China has been the world’s largest market for new energy vehicles for two consecutive years.
In the report of the 19th National Congress of the CPC, the Party and the central government highlight “green development”, which requires continuous promotion and wider utilization of new energy vehicles, and will lead to further structural transformation of the traditional fuel vehicle industry. Moreover, scientific innovation is at the core of enterprise growth, and it is imperative to increase technological innovation.
