Background

While Industry 4.0 has been at the forefront of driving innovation and business its presented a new dimension of challenges around managing operational cyber risk. Be it smart factories, smart devices, smart vehicles the highly interconnected nature of Industry 4.0 implies the need for a very strategic outlook to manage security and privacy issues. The discipline of Cyber Risk Management can be effectively implemented if cybersecurity and privacy is addressed intrinsically by design – for strategy as well as operations.
